South Florida Rugby is thrilled to announce that Coach Greg Schor Haskins will be leading the charge as head coach for the 2025 7s season. A legend in both rugby union and rugby league, Coach Haskins brings an unparalleled level of experience, leadership, and championship pedigree to our program. Having played for elite clubs such as Life Men’s, Old Blue, and Fort Lauderdale RFC, and representing prestigious select sides like the USA Eagles B team, ERU Senior, and U-25, his impact on the sport is undeniable. His Hall of Fame inductions with USA Maccabiah Rugby and Fort Lauderdale RFC speak volumes about his dedication and contributions to the game. Adding to his impressive resume, he is also a capped USA Hawk in rugby league, making him one of the few who have excelled at the highest levels in both codes.
Coach Haskins is no stranger to high-performance coaching, having successfully guided teams like USA Women’s 7s, USA U-18 Boys 7s, and the Tsunami Barbarians 7s. His ability to develop talent and build winning teams will be a game-changer for South Florida Rugby’s 7s program. With his deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of the game, he is poised to elevate our squad to new heights. His passion for the sport and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our vision of growing South Florida Rugby into a powerhouse in the national and international 7s circuit.

His son, Chase Haskins, is currently a professional rugby player for the Miami Sharks, a testament to the strong foundation and mentorship he received from his father. It’s clear that rugby excellence runs in the Haskins family, and South Florida Rugby is fortunate to have a coach of his caliber guiding our 7s program.
